GROTTO ACT 06-04

GROTTO EQUIPMENT POLICY

This act is in accordance with paragraph III K of the Dayton Underground Grotto Bylaws.

1. The Dayton Underground Grotto will maintain basic caving equipment that may be checked out by members and their guests. A grotto member must sponsor any group renting the equipment. This equipment includes helmets, lights, knee pads, elbow pads, packs, and other equipment as may be purchased with the approval of the grotto Executive Committee. The following deposits and fee will be charged. Checks may be made out to the Dayton Underground Grotto.

Rental fee - $6

Deposit - $30 per helmet and light set

2. Anyone renting gear must sign a cave gear rental form (attached) the Equipment Committee Chairman will keep on file until the equipment is returned.

3. This policy does not include the survey or vertical equipment that may also be used by grotto members.
