Wormfest is DUG's annual meeting in the field. Its locations vary from year to year. The grotto vice chairman is in charge of Wormfest, but a committee is appointed to assist the vice chairman in the planning and running of the event. Wormfest is open to all grotto members, and other cavers who are interested in attending. However, only grotto members get pre-registration information. This is to keep the event small and retain its "uniqueness."
